We are pleased to name the the worlds leading scholars and practitioners in international Commercial Law as members of our faculty.
Comparative Legal Approach
We teach international commercial law on a high-level comparative basis. AOur global curriculum is not linked to one specific jurisdiction, but strongly based on a genuine comparative approach. Each class is taught by course leaders – experienced professors and senior lecturers – with a common law and a civil law background.
Student-Centred Educational Approach
Learning is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about training the skills and competences you need for your future career as a global lawyer. Enjoy small and interactive classes that are composed from a student body representing a wide variety of experience, bringing both specialist knowledge and fresh perspectives. Meet your course leaders on a weekly basis to discuss your questions. Get stimulating and inspiring feedback on your work. In between meetings, enjoy readings and videos available 24/7 on the SiLS Learning Management System, write papers and contribute small essays on the module’s wikis and discussion forum.
Travel and Study
Why not study one full semester online at SiLS, and then study on-site for another semester at one of our partner universities (and get two LL.M. degrees). Or use our excellent global network to gain practical experience and advance your career! An internship is a good option to supplement your studies at SiLS. We are happy to assist you in finding internships at international law firms. Also professors at universities around the world, as well as international organisations such as UNCITRAL, UNIDROIT or ICC, have agreed to offer internships for SiLS’ students.
