O lga Nartova is an assistant professor and a chair of the Law Department in Dar Al-Hekma University, where she is teaching courses on intellectual property law and international trade law. She has also been teaching web-based courses at United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the distance learning programme provided by CMP Publishing and the World Trade Institute. Prior to that she had been a research fellow at the World Trade Institute – University of Bern and a co-leader of Work Package 5 on Trade and Climate Change in Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR Trade Regulation).
Olga is a qualified lawyer in Russia (2002), she received her law degree with honors from Moscow State Academy of Law. She also obtained a Master of International Law and Economics (MILE) (summa cum laude) from the World Trade Institute in Berne and holds a degree in economics. Olga completed her doctoral thesis on “Energy Services and Competition Policies under WTO Law” at the University of Bern (summa cum laude).
She is an external consultant at WTI Advisors (Geneva) and has also been an advisor at the ICTSD. Olga is a co-editor of “International Trade Regulation and the Mitigation of Climate Change: World Trade Forum” (Cambridge University Press, Cambridge 2009).
