Professor Tony DUGGANProfessor of Law, University of Toronto, Canada

T ony DUGGAN holds the Hon. Frank H. Iacobucci Chair in the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and is a Professorial Fellow in the Faculty of Law at the University of Melbourne. He was Associate Dean of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law from 2002-2004 and Acting Dean from 1 January-2 April 2013. His main teaching and research interests are secured transactions, bankruptcy law and equity and trusts. 

Professor Tony DUGGAN won the Mewett Teaching Award at the University of Toronto in 2009-2010 and again in 2010-2011. Recent publications include: Anthony Duggan and Jacob Ziegel, Secured Transactions in Personal Property: Cases, Text and Materials (5th ed., Emond Montgomery Toronto, 2009) (6th ed. 2013, Emond Montgomery, Toronto); Middle Income Access to Justice, co-edited with Michael Trebilcock and Lorne Sossin (University of Toronto Press, 2012); and Anthony Duggan and David Brown, Australian Personal Property Securities Law  (Lexis Nexis, Sydney, 2012). He is Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Business Law Review and President of the International Academy of Commercial and Consumer Law.
