M ariana de Araujo Mendes Lima is Master in International Commercial Law at the University of São Paulo and associate lawyer at “Veirano Advogados”.
She has published several papers and articles on International Intellectual Property and has been academically engaged for several years to international and comparative law, intellectual property, arbitration and international courts. She has offered lectures on Intellectual Property in the perspective of International and Comparative Law, which was the subject of the LL.M thesis.
Professionally, Ms. Lima is former Assistant to the President of CAM-CCBC (Centre for Arbitration and Mediation – Chamber of Commerce Brazil Canada). Before joining CAM-CCBC, Ms. Lima was an associate lawyer of Pietro Ariboni, Brazilian law firm specialized in intellectual property disputes, where she worked advising clients and litigating in cases involving intellectual property.
