The SiLS Foundation
The Swiss International Law School Foundation is the funding institution of the SiLS LL.M. in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution.
The SiLS foundation is a non-profit foundation under Swiss law based in Basel, Switzerland. Its purpose is to facilitate worldwide teaching and learning of comparative commercial law and dispute resolution. The SiLS Advisory Board of world-leading scholars and practitioners in international commercial law and arbitration, e-learning specialists and educationalists from different academic fields supports the SiLS Foundation. The dean of SiLS acts as president of the advisory board. The foundation is managed by the SiLS Foundation Board.
SiLS` vision is to adapt legal education to globalisation and bring people together from all over the world to meet the challenges of international legal practice.
All members of our faculty are leading experts and practitioners in international commercial law and arbitration. We teach law on a truly comparative and intercultural basis, and our teaching approach allows you to immediately implement and practice your knowledge. Both the SiLS Master of Laws (LL.M.) and the SiLS Moot Academy are completely web-based and offer a flexible learning environment which is accessible from all over the world.
